Our site is dedicated to the education and advocacy of Ontario's grape growers and the successful pursuit of regulatory and public policy changes to improve the grape and wine industry.
We hope our website affords everyone with the opportunity to learn about Ontario grown grapes and why they are so important to the success of both the growers and the wineries in Ontario. After all, there are more than 600 grape growers and 130 wineries working hard to produce a world-renowned grape and wine industry that rivals any country in the world.
Our site takes great strides to ensure that we provide guidance to anyone seeking to understand our industry and to encourage policy-makers and decisionmakers to adopt policies that support the best interests of our growers. Our website acts as a lobbying voice for the promotion and increased market access of VQA wines, a fair and equitable pricing system for growers and government policy that rewards the use of domestic grown grapes in both wine and juice as opposed to foreign import replacement.
