Grape
juice is good for your health! There have been many scientific
studies which show the positive relationship between drinking
grape juice and maintaining good health. Some of the benefits
of grape juice include:
Purple
grape juice acts as an anticoagulant
and may be stronger than aspirin in reducing the tendency
to form blood clots in healthy people. Aspirin is widely
recommended as a way of warding off heart attacks. The 1998
study was conducted by a team led by Dr. John Folts, director
of the Coronary Thrombosis Research Laboratory at the University
of Wisconsin Medical School. For an article on this topic,

Purple
grape juice helps maintain heart
health. Researchers from the University
of Wisconsin Medical School report in Circulation: Journal
of the American Heart Association that drinking purple grape
juice daily for 14 days was enough to improve blood flow
and reduce the rate at which their cholesterol oxidized.
Dr. John Folts, lead author of the study, says this study
shows purple grape juice has more benefits than simply making
blood less likely to clot as was previously discovered.

Purple
grape juice has similar benefits as red wine. The flavonoids
in grape juice have been shown to prevent the oxidation
of “bad” cholesterol that leads to plaque-constricted
arteries and cardiovascular disease. For more information, visit http://archives.cnn.com/2000/HEALTH/alternative/03/31/wine.heart.wmd/
