Ontario’s VQA Wineries Receive Premier’s Award

The Grape Growers of Ontario extend well-deserved congratulations to the Ontario VQA wineries that have been recognized by the Province by receiving a 2012 Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence.

“These awards recognize and reward outstanding agri-food innovations developed by producers, processors and agri-food organizations,” says the Honourable Ted McMeekin, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. “Through this program, we are helping to foster a culture of innovation that brings new prosperity to Ontario farms.”

The Wine Council of Ontarioand four Ontario wineries, including Burning Kiln Winery, Pillitteri Estates Winery, Puddicombe Estate Wineryand Southbrook Wineryall received a 2012 Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence.
