Welcome to the official website of the Grape Growers of Ontario!

The Grape Growers of Ontario (GGO) is the official organization, acting under the authority of the Farm Products Marketing Commission.  As we head into our 65^th year, the GGO represents Ontario’s over 500 growers of 15,000 acres of processing grapes, including 176 wineries in the Province’s four viticulture areas: Niagara Peninsula, Pelee Island, Lake Erie North Shore and Prince Edward County.

Quality wines begin with our growers and their vineyards.  We salute our growers who are the guardians of the rich, fertile soils of Ontario. Our growers nurture vinifera and hybrid grapes for premium wine production, as well as the classic Concord and Niagara grapes that provide the full-bodied flavours of grape juice.

The GGO website provides an effective source of information for Ontario’s grape growers, and provides an opportunity to share our passion for Ontario grown grapes.
